New year (5785). New hopes and opportunities

We are concluding this Jewish year, which has been incredibly difficult for the State of Israel. We remain under the shadow of the tragic events of October 7, still awaiting the end of the war and the safe return of our brothers and sisters. We hope the coming year brings peace, health, and prosperity and wish you and your loved ones a Happy New Year “Shana Tova U’Metuka”!

Despite these challenging circumstances, the innovation community and Noga have shown resilience and kept moving forward. We believe that developing a strong business ecosystem and international partnerships is more important now than ever, and we continue participating in tech events in Israel and globally to connect Israeli technologies throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

That is why we wanted to share with you - at the beginning of the year- a new project we are working on Innovation in Costa Rica and two upcoming FoodTech events that will take place in Israel.

Innovation in Costa Rica

As the saying goes, "Israel Tech delivers, no matter what." This will undoubtedly hold in the coming year as well. In this regard, we are happy to share  the launch of a new and promising project that connects Costa Rica's export agency, PROCOMER, with Israel's innovation ecosystem.

Noga is collaborating with PROCOMER  to develop a training program to unlock Costa Rica’s innovation capabilities. The program is called “Training Program for Companies with Export Potential.” It aims to empower future exporters to enhance the value of their products and services through innovation, thereby increasing Costa Rica's exports. The training program will include group and personalized sessions, with a primary objective of assessing each company’s current status and identifying competitive gaps in their innovation capabilities for export.

During the individual sessions, highly specialized mentors— Latin Americans residing in Israel—will engage with each company to customize the program content and monitor the progress of their innovation initiatives.

By the program's conclusion, Noga will deliver an innovation roadmap for each participating company. These reports will include innovation gap analyses and a roadmap to address these gaps, offering targeted recommendations in relevant areas covered throughout the course.

Upcoming events in FoodTech!

The Modern Agriculture Foundation

Closing event for the Women in Foodtech Leadership Program led by the Modern Agriculture Foundation.

The Modern Agriculture Foundation is the only organization in Israel focusing on empowering women in the FoodTech industry. This community gathers industry experts, founders, CEOs, Government representatives, and venture capitalists to close the gender gap in the FoodTech industry by fostering collaboration, elevating women's visibility, and offering valuable resources to nurture their skills.

Food Sec & Tech Israel

The conference aims to conduct a multidisciplinary discussion to formulate a national strategic plan for food security. All stakeholders in the field will participate in the conference, highlighting the appropriate methods, means, approaches, and solutions for immediate, significant, and effective action in advancing food security in Israel.
